Eight skills.
Type / and they're yours.
Ready-made Gemini skills for planning, student support, communication and research. Each one is a single file you upload once and call by name whenever you need it.
From file to /command in three steps.
You only install a skill once. After that it waits in Gemini until you call it.
Grab the file
Pick a skill below and hit Download SKILL.md. It's already a plain-text file with the right name, so it's ready to go.
Upload it to Gemini
In the Gemini app (web, Mac or phone), open Skills, choose Upload and pick the SKILL.md file.
Call it by name
In any chat, type / (or @ on newer versions of Gemini), pick the skill, then add your lesson, task or draft.
SKILL.md (in Mac TextEdit, choose Format → Make Plain Text first).Pull a card, any card.
Four shelves, color-coded by who the skill serves. Open a card to see how the skill thinks before you install it.
Every card shares one skeleton.
All eight skills share the same nine parts (Thinking moves spotter adds a tenth: its list of 15 moves). Tap a part to see what it does, then borrow the pattern for your own.
Free to adapt, built to be remixed.
Every skill is shared under CC BY 4.0. Change the tone, swap the examples, add your school's language. Keep the guardrails, and credit Shifting Schools.
